The Story behind
I’m Eirini, the designer and hands behind Red Fox Stories. For as long as I can remember, Art hasn't just been a passion for me, it is a way of living.
My jewelry journey began in 2010 during my university years, where I completed bachelors in Materials Science and 3D Animation. This unique blend of understanding raw elements and digital sculpting laid the foundation for what was to come. But it was my introduction to traditional silversmithing that truly changed my life.
Driven by a desire to master this craft, I left the rush of the big city and moved to Stemnitsa, a historic Greek village renowned for its deep-rooted metalworking tradition. Graduating from the Stemnitsa Silver & Goldsmithery School refined my technique and deepened my reverence for the craft.
The Seed of a Dream
I chose the name Red Fox Stories years ago, while still living amid the noise and rush of the big city. It was born out of a quiet, persistent longing—a dream to escape to a peaceful sanctuary where I could simplify my life and create. The red fox became my silent guide toward that freedom.
For me, every piece of jewelry is a living narrative. A story begins the exact moment an idea sparks in my mind, and it grows as I shape the silver with fire and hammer on my workbench. But that is only the first chapter. The true story unfolds when the jewelry finds you. It becomes woven into your own life, carrying your memories, reflecting your choices, and serving as a physical reminder of why you chose it in the first place.
Today, I create from my small workshop nestled in Vytina, a historic mountain village nestled at an altitude of 1,100 meters. Surrounded by the untamed pine forests of Mount Mainalo and rushing rivers, I find the absolute tranquility where ideas flow naturally. This wild, alpine landscape isn't just my view; it is the heartbeat of my work.
Philosophy: Wearable Stories
I create with the belief that jewelry should be more than just an accessory. It should be an extension of your personality and a vessel for your memories. In a world of mass production, my focus remains on slow, conscious fashion. I choose to ignore fleeting trends, focusing instead on sculpting timeless pieces meant to be worn, loved, and passed down through generations.
Conscious Craftsmanship
Every single piece is designed and hand-forged by me using high-quality 925 Sterling Silver. Combining ancient techniques with a modern aesthetic, I work with fire, hammers, and raw metal to shape forms inspired by the wild textures of nature.
Circular Ethics: Living in the heart of Arcadia means my responsibility to protect it is absolute. In my workshop, I practice a zero-waste ethos, where every single grain of silver scrap is gathered, melted down, and reborn into new creations. This respect extends to the final step: every order is thoughtfully packed using recycled, eco-friendly materials, ensuring that your jewelry leaves a gentle footprint on the earth.
